Thick beer. Dark thick head. The head is so thick I can’t see my light for the opacity rating. Musty. Hot. Thick. Has Mikkeller ever made the same beer twice? Is this a smokebeer? Answer = Yes. For our purposes, if the ingredients are smoked, then it gets reviewed at SmokeBeerMinistry. A chipotle pepper is a smoked jalapeno. Great lacing. Darkness. If you like pepper beers, drink this. Mikkeller does their homework. What will help? – Sweetness, a different yeast, more booze, bamberg smoked peppers (beechwood I believe)… There’s your new recipe Mikkeller.
