Houston’s Awesome (which references Houston’s underground city slogan “Fuck You, Houston’s Awesome!) So is the barbecue at Beaver’s and Goode Company (awesome). Buffalo Bayou is an awesome name. This beer has a great name, cool waxed cap, and “Smoke” written in bold letters right on the front of the bottle, (which makes it very easy to find when scanning shelf after shelf of beer hunting for just one more smokebeer.) One thing that this beer does not have is any hint of smoke. Smoke in name only. Slight changes in the formula have been introduced and therefore The Ministry would be happy to revisit this one, but probably only as a scotch ale, and only if Beaver’s or Goode’s caters the event.
