My first sip of this was like a punch in the jaw. After which I found myself in pursuit, chasing this beer down, for the rest of my life. I understand The Marzen’s reasoning, “How dare someone with a passion for smoked flavors drink anything else?” Sometimes your big brother has to call you out from time to time, “You’re drinking Coors light? What, is the water too flavorful? You’re embarrassing yourself and your family.” Anytime The Marzen walks into a same bar that I’m in, it is summoned to my table where I show it gratitude for setting me straight. Sometimes the only way you can get through to these kids is with tough love. It’s not for everybody, this. But if you’ve never taken yourself to the absolute edge, then my friend, you have never lived. Overall Happiness Rating: 7 out of 7 Smokestacks.
