Noble Beast Brewing – Embers Only smoked helles lager- 5.9 out of 7 smokestacks

Embers Only by Noble Beast Brewing Company of Cleveland, OH delivered a really good smoked helles lager. Based on smokepower smell and smokepower taste, this beer is easily in the >6 range, but the bitters and dryness took just a bit of pleasure out of the experience, leaving it with a (still) very respectable 5.9 smokestacks out of 7. Leaving Embers Only in the group of top tier smokebeers (feel free to sort through SmokeBeerMinistry.com to find the few scoring higher). The unadulterated smokebeer comes off as a beer that achieved exactly what the brewers intended; excellent execution. Noble Brewing named the beer appropriately, also excellent. And the imagery on the can, also excellent. Kept verbiage on the label brief, and included food pairings, also excellent. Final score = 5.9 smokestacks out of 7. Top Tier.
