BTW, I’m still drinkin’. I confessed my sobriety in the last post and plowed right through another review because I love smokebeer AND because my guest bedroom is filling up with rare beers, and I find that a little embarrassing. Gotta drink these down.
Good beer. The first time I found this beer I was out buying a bunch of beer for a party, and then I realized that I didn’t have my wallet, so Nate had to pay, and I never paid him back. I’m watching The Wiz right now… Now I’m watching The Wedding Crashers. Whatchu wanna know about the beer? It’s less malty than the Rauch Geek, a lot less. But there is malt in it. Its got a sweetness to it. Decent low profile smokiness. Subtle Dutch notes of awesomeness. Gateway smokebeer leads non believers into smokeheads. Good beer. Can’t wait for them to make one for the SmokeBeerMinistry. Final score 4.9 smokestacks out of a total possible smokestack rating of 7 smokestacks.
